Sunburned times Two

Survived the weekend. I didn’t get done everything that I wanted to get done, but made good headway. Finished my tote bags and started on two baby quilts. I found out one of our friends is due to have her baby any day – I thought she wasn’t due for a couple of weeks yet! Needless to say, that’s one of the quilts I’m working on now.

Managed to get a few more plants added to the new landscaping. At the rate we’re going, we should have it finished in a couple of years, but progress is still progress. I made the mistake of going to the greenhouse and then planting in a tank top without sunscreen. Even with being outside a total of about an hour, I did a lovely job of burning my shoulders and upper arms. Chad is the one I really feel sorry for. He did some weeding, trimming and other assorted yard work yesterday morning so I could sew and then helped me select and plant the new additions to the landscaping. Today he looks like a boiled lobster – and feels like one too. 🙂 Don’t feel too sorry for him though, his sunburns tend to fade quickly so it won’t bother him for too long.

Well, I suppose I should get to work. I’ve been here almost an hour already and haven’t really done anything. And I have to leave early in order to get to another appointment on time. I really hate road construction!
