Happy November! We are now in the busiest time of year, especially for me. Spring course registration (and all of it’s details and duties) is just around the corner at work, I’m sewing pretty much every chance I get to get quilt orders filled, working on designing and ordering calendars for those want paper items, and the holiday season is getting into full swing. With all of that to handle, what do I do? I sign up for the National Blog Posting Month (otherwise known as NaBloPoMo). This means that I will be posting something here every day (hopefully – Thanksgiving weekend might be interesting!) for the month of November. I’ll either be very enlightened or very, very boring by November 30th.
The quilt show went well. I know – I never posted pictures. Sorry. The set up changed a bit so I didn’t even know where my quilts were placed until Chad and I went over to check things out on Sunday. I felt a bit awkward carrying a camera in and snapping pictures. I know some people get very finicky about others photographing their quilts. I will get pictures of the new quilts (I have two more done as well – go me!) posted soon. I promise. And someday I will figure out how to post photos here rather than making all of you go to my Flickr account.
Speaking of Flickr, there are new photos from the Dierks Bentley & Jack Ingram concert in Sioux City a couple of weeks ago. Chad bought the tickets for me for my birthday. The concert was a couple of weeks late, but well worth the wait. I got to meet Dierks that night – he’s very down-to-earth and humble – and they both put on an awesome show.
Well, I’d better quit now or I won’t have anything to talk about for the rest of the month!
